MySpaceaholicness, Twitteraholicness, YouTubeaholicness,
Bloggeraholicness, and now Google Plusaholicness and just about any
other web 2.0 social media user generated content internetaholicness I
can think of, I somehow came across someones post about planets, stars,
galaxies and more stars and Mercury and Mars being in retrograde, going
around backwards on their axis's or something like that. And objects
seem to fall out of the sky, electronics and everything else just
doesn't seem to work and relationships and other projects can just go
plain wacky to where it can be a great idea to just hide out under a
rock until those planets want to go forward again, I think. And so I
find myself posting an excerpt from Lynn Koiner' Mars Retrograde 2012 website in an attempt to maintain content for this blog and my other blog whenever blaghers block possible.

Mars retrograde 2012

From JANUARY 23 through APRIL 14 2012,
 the planet Mars will be in retrograde motion. This period is
inappropriate for activities requiring the normal flow of Mars
initiative. Using the constructive aspects of these transits, it is an
excellent time to reinforce some aspect of our lives. This will be
shown by the House position of this transit.

When Mars is retrograde, it depletes the vitality so that it is never a time to initiate. Whoever initiates loses—
 a new project, a great love, an argument, a lawsuit, or an
international war. With a new project, it will fizzle out and never
really go anywhere. With a hot romance, it too fizzles and it rarely
gets to the alter. With an argument, the hostility will come back to
haunt you later. In legal matters, stoke your opponent into initiating
the lawsuit first. It will be etched in granite that they will lose.
In an international war, whoever fires first will automatically lose or
 ultimately withdraw. Matters commenced while Mars is retrograde will
be frustrated and plagued with disruptions until they finally fizzle
out. At this time, people become irritated when activities do not run
smoothly. The anger may disrupt indirectly and inappropriately – like
getting a traffic ticket when you feel annoyed with your job.

During
this cycle, never buy anything mechanical unless it is heavily
insured! Office machinery and computers easily break down. A friend
who owned a word processing service found this period to always be a
disaster. During one retrograde cycle, the printer, the back-up
printer and the rented printer all failed to work. When they finally
got one that worked, the mailing labels printed but there was no ink! I
 often notice that the world needs a brake job when Mars in retrograde.

Those
who have Aries or Scorpio strong in their horoscopes are dramatically
affected by this shift in direction of their natural ruler. For
Arians, they find themselves being less aggressive, less pushy and less
impatient to have THEIR WAY
 in a situation. Both Mars-ruled types find themselves more inclined
to sit back and review matters in a more detached or impersonal way.
They feel more patient to wait on circumstances to unfold before they
take action. These individuals may not recognize the anger they feel
inside. They may express an unusual passiveness while under fire
because they need too much processing time before they can retaliate.
Only when Mars turns direct can they move the Mars energy forward.

For those who are NOT
ruled by Mars, it may feel quite differently. They may feel more
impatient to force matters to a conclusion, to get a project going or
to take immediate action. This would be an unwise course of action!
Remember, initiating or impulsively taking action will not work to your
favor.

In GOOD DAYS ACTION PLANNING GUIDE, Mary Shea describes an ideal
 way to handle Mars retrograde. “You go back over situations (either
in your mind or in reality), doing things again and again while making
corrections in the way you handle events. While Mars is retrograde,
you will be reviewing the way you handle anger, self-defense,
self-motivation and sexual relationships… outward anger or conflicts may
 not be appropriate.” She rightfully feels that using
passive-aggressive techniques, manipulation, arbitration or subtle power
 plays may be more appropriate at this time. “If you are normally
non-assertive, you may be forced to defend yourself. Whatever your
tactics, you must give thought to what you are doing. If your tactics
do not work or they are inappropriate to the situation, your anger will
continue to build while Mars is retrograde. You can expect the anger
to manifest full-blown by the time Mars turns direct. If you have
seriously wronged or angered another with…acts of aggression, you can
expect the backlash as Mars turns direct.”

When the 1997
Retrograde got underway in Libra and Virgo, I noticed that
non-aggressive types seemed to now be intolerant of lazy people who
waste their time. They were not willing to take action and eliminate
the non-essential personnel. One Pisces man felt that it was a bad time
 for employees when it was actually a time when he had grown intolerant
 of intolerable work practices by irresponsible workers. In 1999, with
 Mars in Scorpio and Libra, I met many people from my past, people whom
I had not seen in a long time. The connections were temporary. I
found myself dealing with manipulative emotional outbursts in others
but I reacted with calmness and just listened to what they had to say.
In 2001, there were daily accidents on our Beltway, tying up traffic
for miles. Other cities reported the same. McVeigh’s execution was
postponed exactly as Mars went Retrograde which put the spotlight on
John Doe #3 and #4 and a possible cover-up conspiracy.

When
Mercury went Retrograde with Mars, a US and a British missile crashed
upon launching. In 2003, at its Station, there was an unsuccessful
coup in the Philippines. There were many terrorists bombings,
including the bombing of the UN headquarters in Baghdad. There were
several oustings, referendums and resignations of political leaders
during this cycle.

In the Kitchen

Guest post written by Kevin Beach

For my birthday this year I decided to treat myself. I’ve always wanted a
television in the kitchen so I could cook with my favorite television shows. Not
only did I purchase and install a small flatscreen television beneath my
cabinets but I also had it connected to our Dish TV. Now I
can cook along with Paula or fix something quick with a mix and Sandra Lee. And
when there isn’t a cooking show on while I am cooking or if I want to watch
something different while I clean up after dinner I can watch that too. Finally,
I have my own television to control. Because it’s small and in the kitchen no
one else in the house wants to watch it so I can have the final say in what’s
on. I’m even finding myself lingering in the evenings while I was dishes these
days or inventing things I need to do in there so I can watch what I want! Maybe
I will finally get my refrigerator cleaned out now that I have something to
entertain me while I do it!

An Occupy Wall Street Quote

And on this day finds itself another one
of those Sundays that has rolled around. The day of the sun, the day
of rest. Or is that Saturday, the Sabbath. And yet I find myself blah
blogging away for some reason or another. The only thing constant is
change and some stories do not end as you expect. And unless you have
been stuck in the stone age or under one of those rocks the past few
months, one must have heard of Occupy Wall Street by now, that global revolution of a movement. And Occupy Wall Street and Occupy Together are still moving fast. And in my travels throughout internetland on this day I came across one of those George Orwell quotes for this movement, and 2011, 12 = 1984, and also a Martin Niemoller quote that finds itself quoted for this Occupy Wall Street movement on this Occupy Wall Street day whose Martin Niemoller sermons quote title that seems to be called "First They Came", reads something like as follows:

First they came for the communists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.

Then they came for the Catholics,
and I didn't speak out because I was Protestant.

Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for me.

Als die Nazis die Kommunisten holten,
habe ich geschwiegen;
ich war ja kein Kommunist.

Als sie die Sozialdemokraten einsperrten,
habe ich geschwiegen;
ich war ja kein Sozialdemokrat.

Als sie die Gewerkschafter holten,
habe ich nicht protestiert;
ich war ja kein Gewerkschafter.

Als sie die Juden holten,
habe ich geschwiegen;
ich war ja kein Jude.

Als sie mich holten,
gab es keinen mehr, der protestierte.
When the Nazis came for the communists,
I remained silent;
I was not a communist.

When they locked up the social democrats,
I remained silent;
I was not a social democrat.

When they came for the trade unionists,
I did not speak out;
I was not a trade unionist.

When they came for the Jews,
I remained silent;
I wasn't a Jew.

When they came for me,
there was no one left to speak out.

First they came for the Jews
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for the Communists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Communist.
Then they came for the trade unionists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for me
and there was no one left
to speak out for me.

and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist.
Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew.
Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Catholics,
and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant.
Then they came for me -
and by that time no one was left to speak up.

Other translations or variants:

In Germany, they came first for the Communists, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist;
And then they came for the trade unionists, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist;
And then they came for the Jews, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew;
And then . . . they came for me . . . And by that time there was no one left to speak up.
Twenty-five years later Niemöller indicated that this was the version he preferred, in a 1971 interview.
When the Nazis came for the communists,
I did not speak out;
As I was not a communist.

When they locked up the social democrats,
I did not speak out;
I was not a social democrat.

When they came for the trade unionists,
I did not speak out;
As I was not a trade unionist.

When they came for the Jews,
I did not speak out;
As I was not a Jew.

When they came for me,
there was no one left to speak out.
When the Nazis arrested the Communists,
I said nothing; after all, I was not a Communist.
When they locked up the Social Democrats,
I said nothing; after all, I was not a Social Democrat.
When they arrested the trade unionists,
I said nothing; after all, I was not a trade unionist.
When they arrested me, there was no longer anyone who could protest.
First the Nazis came…
First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out —
because I was not a communist;
Then they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out —
because I was not a socialist;
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out —
because I was not a trade unionist;
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out —
because I was not a Jew;
Then they came for me —
and there was no one left to speak out for me.

And what, if anything, does this have to do with a No Police State.

Manufacture This Home

Now here's an interesting phrase I find myself blogging about on this blogging day. manufactured homes. Hey again bloggers, or whoever could be reading this blog. Occupy Hoboken Art Show in that city of Hoboken because this Occupy Hoboken Art Show Facebook event invite
and all of those artworks that I am trying to make for this Occupy
Hoboken Art Show and also that flyer that finds itself posted above says

finds itself posted in that photo above that has something do with
censorship of the internet. And that newspaper headline reads something

And today finds itself as Occupy Wall Street Day 112. And Occupy Wall Street and Occupy Together
those global revolutions, are still moving fast. And it's 2012 this AD
year, an awakening, a time for change. And somehow I came across that
photo that finds itself posted above throughout my internet travels

You Don't Get Indefinitely Detained NDAA, National Defense Authorization
Police State Martial Law Draconian of an Act law photo that finds
itself posted above seems to speak for itself. This Act was signed
quietly this past New Years Eve violating what little trust remained
between the people and their established government. And what does this
have to do with a No Police State.

I was surfing the net the other day on our wireless
internet service Austin when I came across a story about a Walmart where
more than a dozen needles and syringes have been found by innocent shoppers in
various products throughout the store. There have been reports of young children
being stuck by needles planted in children’s pajamas and clothes, and adults
pierced by syringes in pockets, gloves, and socks. As I was reading this story,
I was literally sickened by the thought that anyone could be that malicious. Who
would do such a thing, and what horrible motive could a person have for such a
deed? I wonder if it could be an overworked, disgruntled employee or even a
former employee trying to cause ruination for his or her employer. Or is it
someone who is facing such a trying time that the only sick relief could be to
drag others into this living hell? Regardless, the responsible party needs to be
found, and this horrible story needs to end. Not only is it fearful for
shoppers, but I can only imagine the anxiety and fear that those who have been
stuck by these needles must be facing.

A 2012 New Year

Hey again bloggers, or whoever could be

Well
someone in politics just passed some bill named with a bunch of numbers
and letters behind it that has something to do with taking away ones
liberty in the name of security, or freedom, or something like that. And
so what's that Benjamin Franklin "Those who would sacrifice liberty for
security deserve neither" quote all about anyway. And so on this day
finds itself as Occupy Wall Street Day 90. And Occupy Wall Street and Occupy Together are still moving fast. And Occupy Wall Street
is having a press conference today in that City of New York in response
to this National Defense Authorization Act, Sections 1031 and 1032,
which will allow the United States government to imprison any person who
commits any act they disagree with indefinitly and without trial thing
as follows. And what, if anything does this have to do with a No Police
State.

Defend the Bill of Rights for All of Us.

On
Bill of Rights Day, Thursday, Dec 15 there will be a Press Conference
on Federal Court Steps, 40 Centre St., Manhattan, 11am. A coffin of the
Bill of Rights will be brought to Federal Court Foley Square, NY, NY

The
Bill of rights was ratified 220 years ago, on December 15, 1791. It is
shameful that today, in the United States, we are forced to come
together in defense of the Bill of Rights and our civil liberties, as
the representatives of the 1% who rule this country continue to take our
rights away.

Congress is attempting to bury the Bill of Rights.
The National Defense Authorization Act of 2012 (NDAA) includes language
proposed by Democratic Sen. Carl Levin and Republican Sen. John McCain
that allows for the arrest and indefinite detention of U.S. citizens by
the military, on U.S. soil and without the right of trial. This is an
egregious violation of our first amendment rights and comes at a time
when we are witnessing unprecedented attacks on our civil liberties.

Some of these attacks include:

Massive spying on the Muslim community, including the recent
revelations of the spying by the New York City Police Department (NYPD)
and the CIA on mosques, Muslim businesses, and Muslim student groups;

The continuation of the policy of sending agents into mosques with
phony plots designed to entrap Muslims for so called “preemptive
prosecution”;

The recent raids on homes of antiwar activists
by federal agents, who have carted away personal computers, cell phones,
books, and other possessions and handed the activists subpoenas to
appear before federal grand juries;

The recent, often violent
evictions of anti-Wall Street occupations around the country; The
refusal of the Chicago city government and the federal government to
allow for peaceful protests when NATO and the G8 countries come to
Chicago in May, 2012 to hold summit meetings.

The potential
impact of the NDAA's provisions to expand military detention without
trial could render the other issues we all address seemingly trivial;
any activist stands at risk of designation as a potential terrorist,
especially if their interests include either foreign policy or
enterprises that impact the environment.

On December 15, Bill of
Rights Day actions and press conferences are planned in New York City,
Boston, Chicago, Minneapolis, San Francisco and other areas of the
country. Several national coalitions -- including the Muslim Peace
Coalition, United National Antiwar Coalition, Bill of Rights Defense
Committee, the Center for Constitutional Rights, Committee to Stop FBI
Repression and others are co-promoting this call to action.

In
New York, representatives from civil liberties, religious, social
justice, and peace organizations will come together to voice opposition
to the National Defense Authorization Act and other recent attacks on
our civil liberties. We will discuss our plans to fight for the rights
of all people and to defeat this repressive legislation.

For information on actions around the country, go to: bordc.org/.

Initial list of participants in NYC (List in formation)

The Muslim Peace Coalition
Bill of Rights Defense Committee
Center for Constitutional Rights - CCR,
Islamic Leadership Council of Metro NY
Islamic Circle of North America – ICNA
United National Antiwar Coalition - UNAC,
Council on American Islamic Relations - CAIR-NY
International Action Center - IAC
BAYAN USA Committee for Human Rights in the Philippines,
National Alliance for Philippine Concerns,
Pakistan USA Freedom Forum
Activists of Occupy Wall Street – OWS
Committee to Stop FBI Repression
Muslim Ummah of North America –MUNA
Islamic Center of Long Island

Online TV

And if I must blogger say, in the age of all things internet and online just about everything, I have found myself watching Online TV these days and times.
