The Parking Ticket
And while I am on the topic of tickets and summons again as in the previous post about two posts ago, is there some sort of money racket going on with the City of New York and parking and towing cars or something in this town. Historically I have heard of horror stories, and just one today of "Gee, I just had to pay a zillion dollars and more revenue to the City of New York to have my car ticketed and towed and it cost me a billion dollars more to get it back" stories. And then it seems as if that between the rent a parking space, off the side street parking, paying for parking tickets, having ones vehicle towed and whatever else that requires money for ones automobile, that one needs twenty full time jobs just to afford their car in New York City. Is it possible to have a world without The New York Department Of Finance Parking Violations so that one would never have to hear another one of those "My car got ticketed and towed for a bazillion dollars to finance the department of finance" stories ever again. And what would that mean, or is that another one of those utopian thoughts. And what does this have to do with a No Police State?
